Indoor Air Quality – Keeping Your Air Safe
Much has been said about the pollution Earth is facing – year after year, the quality of air in cities gets gradually worse, forcing people to relocate to the countryside in hopes of improving their health. But what about indoor air quality?
Interestingly enough, this topic is almost completely overlooked despite being every bit as important – after all, many of us spend roughly half our lives inside our homes, making fresh air indoors paramount. However, most home owners rarely give much thought in regards to the quality of air inside their four walls.
But why is indoor air quality at an all-time low? Simple: HVAC systems aren’t working like they should. With the air outside being worse than ever, your home HVAC system needs to be in tip-top shape in order to keep delivering fresh air to you.
Yet this is rarely the case – most people’s air ducts are as dirty and clogged as they can get, often accomplishing the opposite effect of the one they were meant to. Then there’s also the air conditioning – without proper AC maintenance, various nasty items can find their way into the AC tube as well as its other parts, polluting your indoor air as a result.
What can you do to improve the situation? Your path is straightforward – give Tex-Perts Cooling and Heating a call and we’ll come over and see how bad of a shape your indoor air is. We can almost guarantee that you’ve been breathing in dust and pollutants for a while now, but don’t worry – after our visit, you’ll once again be able to enjoy fresh air all around your home.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) In San Antonio
Most of the time, our visits related to indoor air quality involve checking up on the home owner’s AC system to make sure that it isn’t a source of any pollutants. Furthermore, we’ll also check the inside of your air ducts to make sure they’re free of filth as well as holes and cracks. Most of the time, they’re going to be ridden with them, which is why you can’t afford to delay our visit any longer – with every day that goes by, you’re breathing in more pollutants and allergens that could end up causing a chronic condition.
In extreme cases or in those cases where the client so desires, we can outfit the home with an air purifier that will keep the air inside the home fresh year-round even if the HVAC system is lagging behind. Of course, air purifiers are an added expense and only cover a certain portion of your home – the larger your home is, the more extensive the purifier system will have to be, not to mention that they can inflate the utility bill pretty fast.
If you’re unsure whether your home needs an air purifier, an AC tune-up or an air duct cleaning and repair to improve its indoor air quality, give us a call and we’ll send a technician right away – together, we will come up with the optimal strategy to keep your indoor air fresh without exception.
